Katy
Kylakou studied law at the University of Athens. She has been responsible
for the implementation of several projects of the RSC referring to the issues
of equality in European enterprises and in collective bargainings and agreements.
In the framework of the Programme "Combatting Social Exclusion"
she was responsible for planning and realization of Accompanying Supporting
Services for the creation of enterprises and cooperatives by women under
threat of social exclusion such as single parents, migrants, repatriates,
long-term unemployed. Her publications refer to gender discrimination and
law, civil and social rights of native as well as migrant women.
In October 2002 she has been elected to the Local Authorities Council of
the City of Korydallos, (Piraeus) and is responsible (among others) for
equality policies. |
