The reproduction of the inequality of chances linked to work conditions and especially also to labour division in families engaged in ethnic business was a main subject of the investigation. Moreover, based on a concept of quality of life that includes the biographical dimension, we aimed at developing a sensitive instrument for the analysis of quality of life that takes biographical and intergenerational aspects into account. EthnoGeneration conducted research in the UK, in France, Denmark, Germany and Greece. The aim was to explain the current situation and to formulate recommendations for EU policy makers to improve the legal framework. 1 | 2 |
